Sometimes building work already carried out can make designing a garden extremely difficult. Here the house developer had built a patio, some raised beds and steps which had to be worked around.

The garden is split into two levels each with its own lawn area. a path starts at the northern end of the house with a herb garden and skirts the garden to the north and north east gently sloping down to join the lower lawn on the eastern side.

A pergola has been constructed in the north east corner to frame the garden seat and create added value tothe path.
